GNT at AdeptiCon was an absolute blast. The group made it much easier for me as I was traveling from the UK alone and literally knew nobody there, by the end of tour I’d found a dozen new friends. GNT made sure that there was always something to do, people to talk to and Teras was always on hand to sort out any little issues, facilitate the GNT events and generally being a very nice man. If I go to AdeptiCon again I’d definitely go with GNT.

I will cheriash my memories of The Waterloo Tour which was easily the best planned , best organised tour I have ever seen. Our battlefield guide Barry was tremendous with unlimited knowledge . I saw places like Ligny , Quatre- Bra , Mont St. Jean, Hougomont , Waterloo that I had dreamed about since my school days . The 2 nights on the battlefields were well organised and nobody got lost which was more amazing. I will cherish the memories particularly of climbing Mond Leon and of the great group , Thanks Teras.

The Waterloo Battlefield Tour was a wonderful first hand account of my favorite battle. Having the opportunity to see the ground was monumental. Barry' Hilton's narative was top notch and timely. One truly impressive site was the smoke from musket and cannon covering the entire space, something we don't do well in wargaming. Well done, Geek Nation Tours.

The Waterloo Tour was a wonderful introduction to european travel for us. Being shepherded past museum queues and having VIP access at the re-enactment made the experience painless and so very enjoyable. Walking the battlefields was exciting enough, but having an experienced field guide in the person of Barry Hilton added so much to what would have otherwise involved much map-gazing and walking in circles. Another unexpected highlight was the convivial fellow tour goers. Most being gamers, it was very nice to be able to talk gaming with like-minded individuals. This definitely added to the experience. Overall, we had a ball and highly recommend the company.

The Geek Nation Waterloo Tour was an absolutely brilliant experience. Every aspect of the tour was huge fun, and professionally conducted. Accommodation was top notch and the 'Guest Tour Guides' really were experts in their fields. For me it was a childhood dream realised. And that is essence what this Geek Nation tour for me was,.. A dream realised. Standing at the gate of La Haye Sainte took me back to being a 5 year old boy sitting at my mother's kitchen table assembling a model of that very farm house.
I can't recommend Teras and his Tours more highly. A simply fantastic experience!

I have just returned from my second first class ‘geek tour’. I cannot praise these tours high enough. I thought that they could not have improved on the first tour, but they did. Well thought out and led, excellent informative guides, and all the attention to detail that lets you know you are on a first class tour. I can’t wait to sign up for the next one.

Many, many thanks for the ‘Waterloo 2015 Event’ tour. It was easily one of the best tour holidays I have ever experienced. Obtaining Barry Hilton as battlefield guide and historical specialist was a stroke of genius. Dave Taylor’s expert painting tutorials were great too. Add to it the impressive battlefield displays, wonderful companionship of a group of like-minded people, comfortable accommodation and excellent food; I’m sure I would be hard-pushed to find another vacation as outstanding as yours. I will cherish the memories of that visit for a long time to come.
